Platform Capabilities

Deep dive into
brand intelligence

A full view of Doculer capabilities: intent-first onboarding, channel and document indexing, structured matching workflows, and source-traceable updates.

Platform-Aware Channel and Document Indexing

One model for web channels, social channels, and document channels

A generic scraper reading raw page markup will get useful results from a website. It will get almost nothing from a social platform. Document repositories have a different structure again. Doculer knows where to look and what to prioritize for each source type.

When you connect a channel, we apply extraction logic designed for that specific platform type. The result is a set of confidence-scored brand elements and document references, each tagged with where it was found and why it matters.

Websites: homepage, about, contact, press, brand guidelines

LinkedIn: banner, tagline, about section, specialities

YouTube: channel description, video conventions, banner

X (Twitter): bio, pinned tweet, banner, reply tone

Instagram: bio, highlight aesthetics, grid palette, caption style

Facebook and TikTok: cover, description, content patterns

Documents: uploaded files, public URLs, Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive

Structured Element Extraction

Every brand finding categorized, scored, and traceable

Every element we extract falls into one of five categories: visual, copy, voice and tone, structural, and legal. Each carries a confidence level, source location, and specific reasoning for why it matters to your brand identity.

Elements can be edited, verified, or deleted. Fragmented content is reconstructed into coherent text, and duplicates are merged automatically, keeping the highest-confidence version.

Visual

Logos, banners, colour codes, typography, imagery style

Copy

Taglines, headlines, calls to action, value propositions, bio text

Voice & Tone

Vocabulary patterns, tone markers, content style

Structural & Legal

Navigation labels, section headings, copyright notices, disclaimers

Element Grouping

Organize brand elements into navigable categories

After extraction, elements are organized into groups that map to real brand workflows: Visual Identity, Brand Voice, Core Messaging, Product Messaging, Legal Copy, and more.

Groups make it possible to ask questions like "show me all the taglines across all channels" or "where does our logo appear, and is it consistent?" Without grouping, you have a flat list. With grouping, you have a navigable brand inventory.

Auto-group by element tags for quick organization

Advanced semantic grouping for deeper categorization

Move elements between groups freely

Group-level consistency insights

Brand Discovery and Onboarding

Start with your goal, then follow the right onboarding path

Onboarding starts with intent: monitor a public brand or manage internal documents first. The flow then adapts to the work you want to complete.

Public-brand onboarding prioritizes discovery and channel review. Internal-document onboarding prioritizes file upload and connector setup. Both paths converge on grouping, guidelines, and health tracking.

Intent-first onboarding: public brand or internal documents

Automated social profile and key page discovery

Document connect step: upload files, add URLs, or connect drives

One-screen review with approve, reject, or add manually

Auto-start indexing when channels and documents are approved

Guidelines upload with structured extraction for baseline rules

Document Channels and Connectors

Documents are indexed through the same model as websites and social channels

A document channel can represent an upload batch, a connected Google Drive folder, a SharePoint library, a OneDrive folder, or any public document URL. The original files are stored and versioned so you can re-index from a stable source.

Once connected, document content is parsed, chunked, indexed, and mapped into the same brand graph as channel content. That makes cross-document and cross-channel consistency checks straightforward.

Upload PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, and text files from the dashboard

Add any public document URL and index it as a managed source

Connect Google Drive, SharePoint, and OneDrive repositories

Track file metadata, source links, and reference validity checks

Re-index a single file, a document channel, or an entire brand

Keep full source tracing from chunk-level findings back to file origin

Cross-Document Matching

Track approved wording and find where it appears across channels and documents

Teams can track canonical snippets such as office addresses, approved claims, product names, or legal lines. Doculer checks those snippets against indexed content and surfaces exact matches, near matches, and meaning-equivalent phrasing.

Results are merged into one review queue with source context so you can confirm, dismiss, or update each item quickly without opening hundreds of files manually.

Track canonical text from a guideline, element, or document source

Search with keyword relevance, phrase similarity, and semantic matching

Detect typos and short-string variations in names, numbers, and claims

De-duplicate matches by document and source section

Auto-run matching after indexing or re-indexing completes

Feed match quality into document-alignment health scoring

Analytics and Brand Health

Measure brand consistency with explainable signals

The analytics dashboard gives you an overview of your brand health: total assets, verified elements, channel and document coverage, and group consistency. Issues are surfaced with severity levels so you know what needs attention first.

The brand health panel on your dashboard provides a quick score with actionable suggestions. Distribution breakdowns show how elements spread across categories, confidence levels, channels, and document repositories.

Brand Graph

Visualize the relationships behind your brand identity

The brand graph shows how everything connects: brands have channels, channels contain elements, elements belong to groups, and channels are discovered from other channels. You can explore the graph in list or interactive view.

Select any node to see its connections, drill into details, and understand how your brand identity is structured across touchpoints. The graph grows automatically as you index more channels.

Guidelines Upload and Extraction

Turn your style guide into structured, actionable rules

Upload your brand guidelines as a PDF and Doculer extracts structured rules from them. The result is not a static file sitting in a folder but a set of actionable guidelines tied to your brand model.

Extracted guidelines feed into the analytics and health scoring system. As you index channels and extract elements, the platform can surface where your actual brand presence differs from your documented standards.

Guidelines tied to brand model for comparison

Upload during onboarding or any time after

Replace or update guidelines as they evolve

Re-indexing, Updates, and Action Queue

Apply updates safely and route exceptions to the right owner

Every channel and document tracks indexing status and last indexed time. Re-indexing can run at file, channel, or full brand scope, and each run compares current findings against the previous baseline.

Confirmed matches can trigger update workflows. Where direct edits are available, updates are applied automatically. Where permissions block edits, Doculer creates manual actions and notifies the assigned owner.

Re-index a document, channel, or full brand on demand

Apply confirmed text updates to connected sources and uploads

Create manual actions automatically for no-permission cases

Track update status: pending, applying, applied, failed

Workflow notifications for indexing, matching, and updates

Active jobs panel on the brand dashboard

Notification center and summary reports for changes applied

Real-time progress tracking for all background workflows

Built-in Platform Capabilities
